Europa League – Group Stage – Round 4
Fenerbahce 2-0 Anderlech

TIPS: Over 1.5 Goals | Odds: 1.30 | Result: 2:0 WIN!!!

It’s all on the line in Europa League’s (EL) Group F, with just three points separating Fenerbahçe in second and Anderlecht in last. A victory for the home side would all but guarantee progression to the knockout stage, something they have achieved on each of their previous four appearances in the competition.
Fenerbahçe are without a win in their last four competitive matches (D3, L1), however their recent home record in the EL group stage is impressive, with three of their previous four home group stage wins being to nil, including a 2-0 home victory in matchday two against Trnava.
You can expect a busy evening for the referee. Fenerbahçe have accumulated a staggering 42 yellow cards (12 in the EL) and three red cards this season. Meanwhile Anderlecht’s disciplinary record isn’t much better. They have received 31 yellow cards (four EL) and three reds (one EL).
For Anderlecht it’s simple – defeat and they are eliminated. But their form is patchy, with just one win in their last four (W1, D2, L1 – in all competitions). They led Fenerbahçe 1-0 at half-time two weeks ago, even doubling their lead at one point, before being pegged back to 2-2. It was the first time a Belgium side had dropped points from a winning half-time position this season.
Players to watch: Islam Slimani has scored 40% of Fenerbahçe’s EL goals this season, all of them came against Trnava. Meanwhile Anderlecht’s Zakaria Bakkali netted twice either side of half-time against Fenerbahçe last time out, and will be looking to add to that tally again on Thursday evening.
Stat attack: Fenerbahçe have just three wins all season, two of which have been to nil (in all competitions).
Both teams have scored in Fenerbahçe’s last three matches.
Anderlecht’s previous six matches have seen 2+ goals.
Anderlecht have managed just one clean sheet all season.
