MATCH PREVIEW

Having never experienced five defeats in a row in England’s top-flight, Bournemouth will be determined to end their current run of four-straight Premier League (PL) losses when Huddersfield come to town.
Three of those defeats were at the hands of PL giants Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United however, with the two at home (Arsenal and United) ending with a tight 2-1 scoreline. The same score as Bournemouth’s last two home victories (in all competitions).
Across all competitions, the ‘Cherries’ have lost just two of ten competitive home games this season (W6, D2, L2), managing to score before the break in eight of them.
Huddersfield have just one league win on the road this season (W1, D2, L3), with all four results that ended with a winner being decided by a margin of two or more goals.
Yet despite a 2-1 home defeat to Brighton in their last outing, the visitors are actually on a run of decent form, picking up seven points in their last four PL games after previously registering just three from their first ten fixtures.
However, after failing to win any of their last six trips here, Huddersfield could find this a tough match (D3, L3) – in fact their last H2H victory came back in 2007 when these two played in League One.
Players to watch: Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson has been directly involved in 11 PL goals this season (seven goals, four assists).
Huddersfield defender Zanka’s goal after 55 seconds against Brighton in his side’s last outing is the PL’s fastest strike this season.
Stat attack: The last time Bournemouth lost three PL home games in a row was April 2016.
Goals have been scored in both halves in five of Huddersfield’s six away league matches.
The only team to have hit the woodwork more times than Huddersfield (nine) this PL season, is Manchester City (ten).
