Roma have had a mixed start to their Champions League (CL) season so far (W1, L1) and suffered a shock loss at home to Spal (2-0) in their last Serie A match at the weekend. Of course, they had one eye on this fixture, as they look to build on a superlative CL home record of six wins since the start of last season, conceding only to Liverpool during the run.
